Teaching

Learning strategy
by making decisions.

I teach strategy to executives, MBA students, and undergraduates. My goal is to help students ask better questions, evaluate evidence, and make thoughtful choices under uncertainty.

In the classroom

From a good question
to a defensible choice.

I use cases, applied projects, and classroom discussion to connect strategy concepts with the choices managers face. Students work through competing explanations, consider trade-offs, and use evidence to decide what an organization should do.

My research informs how I teach human capital, incentives, organizational design, and the people whose decisions determine whether a strategy succeeds.
